Who are we and what do we do?
PDX Fun League is a co-ed softball league in North Portland that values fun, sportsmanship, and love of the game! Our community gathers every summer to enjoy the gorgeous Portland weather, some friendly competition, and lots of laughs.
We are a casual group of team managers and coaches organizing in the spirit of fun. Most teams are represented by bars, but it is not a requirement for participation in the league.
The commissioner conducts meetings with coaches and managers throughout the year to discuss the schedule, fees, rule changes, and any other issues that arise. Decisions are always made by majority vote after time for consideration, with each team receiving one vote and the commissioner’s vote as tiebreaker when necessary.
This is everyone’s league and we strive to be transparent about our processes. If you have questions or suggestions, chat with your coach or manager, or reach out to the commissioner.
