Important and urgent message from @slimspdx team, please help if you’re able (link in bio):Hey Fun League Community. Our teammate Tal is going through a very difficult time right now. Her sister and brother-in-law are missing and considered hostages from an attack occuring at kibbutz Nir Oz. She and the rest of her family (located in Portland, East Coast and Israel) are activly working with the Biden Administration to get them back, but in order to do all this she is taking time off from work and traveling. Well this was a really awesome one! Congratulations to @slimspdx – this year’s champs! It was a tight game, neck & neck throughout— then Slim’s gained and padded a small lead in the top the 7th and managed to hold @beulahland_pdx ‘s offensive powerhouse in the bottom for the win! Great softball all around. Hooray for a lovely day and season. Thanks for being Fun Leagers, y’all! See MoreSee Less

It’s a wrap on the regular season, and here’s your first (perhaps surprising) look at playoffs seeding. Congrats and thanks to everyone for such a fun regular season! A note on 6th, 7th and 8th seeds:As shown here in the stats, there was a 3-way tie in AWP for those positions. Head-to-Head puts CF over LPH (6/3) & BS over CF (7/8)— but, BS and LPH still have a tie (6/10 & 7/22).The wording on the scoring document doesn’t (yet) account for the BS/LPH situation (AWP=tied, GP=different, H2H=tied, and GB=tied). While run differential is used & makes sense as a tie breaker when GP are the same, it doesn’t really seem to make sense when GP are different. Therefore, because BS has played 9 games and LPH just 7, BS wins the tie. See MoreSee Less
